The main aim to release this film is to make us aware of a great Indian Patriot who was deliberately removed from history books (by Nehru). The place Savarkar has in our Independence struggle is undoubtedly among the top. The film is like a summarisation of Savarkar’s life and his struggle for Independence.
Sudhir Phadke who took initiative to make this film faced difficulty to raise the finance, hence the film is seen to be poorly made. But the objective was met - to make us aware of our real heroes, and to expose the truth - that was hidden.
Only patriotic Indians go see the film. Those who look for entertainment and fun - need not watch. This film shows pain and suffering, only those who can understand watch it.
