Ever since the film’s announcement, Veere di Wedding has been the talk of the town. After hitting the box office, it has earned raves from moviegoers. For the first time in B- town, A list of leading ladies like Kareena Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, Swara Bhaskar, Shikha Talsania have come together and shared the screen space. The bonding of four childhood friend and their don’t care attitude are have proclaimed by the audience. It is a very well balanced film. Besides that, Swara Bhaskar had highly criticised for her masturbation scene in the movie. This film showcases that today’s women think about their life from different & modern perspective. This is a progressive Bollywood movie on female friendship. In the Second half, the story moves around the topic of the masturbation which is seen ashamed of and hides from your beloved one. The film also shows the smoking habit of women, one night stand, say no to marriage. The storyline is great. It considers that in B-town we saw the rare version of such independent ladies. Swara Bhaskar as a Shakshi Soni led in a loveless, sexless life. She uses fingers and sex toy to please her. After seeing that her husband threatens Shakshi to disclose this secret of her to the world. Every day he blackmailed her regarding this matter which makes her becoming an alcoholic. Her exhausted mind continued to wallow in self-pity. Finally, in Phuket, she had to courage to tell her friends about this matter. She refers to it as a “half cheating “on her husband. Her friend laughs about it. Not only has this movie showed one’s own desire for sexual matter which is weird for society and also causes for their divorce. Movie climax shows that Avni told her mother lying on her lap that arranged marriage is not her cup of tea and that’s how she is. Her mother quickly responds that she will still keep visiting matrimonial sites to find her daughter’s suitable Jodi. Because she thinks that’s how she is.
