Venkateshwar hospital is certainly among the worst hospitals in Delhi. They don’t care about their patients, infact they care about money making only . My wife delivered a baby girl three months back, she was absolutely normal but Pediatricians(Dr. Gaurav, a tobacco lover I would say rather than a Doctor and Dr. Bhasin) there said the baby was having some problem and for her treatment, they admitted my baby in NICU(which was not required at all) for just to increase the bill amount. They kept on carrying out several tests on daily basis and every test report came out to be absolutely normal. Every activity, reflexes of my baby girl was absolutely normal but still Dr. Gaurav and Bhasin kept our baby in NICU for a week to increase their commission from hospital.
There were no signs of even a single problem in baby but both Pediatricians had to achieve their target, so they kept my baby in NICU for a week and gave me a bill of around 1 lac. They admit every 8 out of 10 babies delivered in NICU which I saw in that 1 week. When a baby is discharged from NICU, they are ready with a new baby to admit in NICU on that bed. Not even a single bed in NICU remains free for 12 hrs even.
And when parents use to visit NICU to see their babies, sisters ask all the parents to cover their mouth, head with masks and covers and wash hands properly before touching the babies, even sisters also follow this but I saw Dr. Gaurav and Dr. Bhasin 3 times without covering their mouth and head in NICU while examining babies. All rules of NICU are for parents and sisters only, not for Pediatricians. Infact, Dr. Gaurav kept on chewing Tobacco in NICU(saw 3 times) while examining babies, his teeths will tell everything. Doesn’t this cause any infection to babies in NICU? Hospital is just busy in making money from newly born babies. And the most important thing, even Sisters of NICU never complain about Dr. Gaurav.
And when they finally discharged our baby from NICU, they asked us for several tests and asked us to get all the tests done from Venkateshwar hospital itself so that they can make more money from us.
Venkateshwar hospital is not a hospital, it is a profit making organization.
