I have purchased Vestar 1 ton inverter aircon on 4th December, 2018. It has a very powerful cooling feature. The electrical consumption is quite low and as it’s an inverter aircon, the current drawn is quite less and it gets lowered as the set temperature gets closer.
Only thing I didn’t like is that the minimum temperature which could be set is 17 degrees whereas in most of the brands it could be set till 16 degrees. This brand is sister-concern of General so I hope the service quality would be decent. The noise levels of both indoor and outdoor units are quite less.
I have used aircons of other brands as well.
At present I am using one Samsung, one Voltas and one Vester aircons. Quality wise it’s at par with Voltas. Samsung aircons, I don’t have a good perception about this brand as two aircons of Samsung failed within 6 years and I had to replace those aircons as the repair estimates were way too high.
Voltas, I have been using this brand’s aircon for more than 6 months and it’s awesome as well.
One Samsung aircon is woking fince since 2010. It might be that during that time product quality was decent.
Whenever you buy an aircon, go for copper condenser based aircons.
Tonnage calculation should be done properly if you want proper cooling .
Before purchasing this product I have asked for a review from one of my friends who has been using Vestar aircon for years. I got a positive review.
So the bottom line is, if the budget is low and you want to get one of the best aircons, go for Vestar.
