I remember mainly about those our past days when I came initially to Chennai after 11 years of military life in Dehradun.
It was around 1997 when my family and me came back to Chennai and we were concerned of a home and busy in making one.
We stayed in a rented house for an year.
These days were bored me alot.There were no malls and night clubs those days.
So one sunday, I decided to go for a movie .Most popular theatre was ‘Vetrrivel’.It was situated at Naganallur.
I knew the movie only after reaching the theatre.Movie was ‘Ullathai Allitha’.This movie was old and I think it got released around 1996.
Theatre experience was awesome.So movies made a window for me to get out of my house and enjoy.
Same year, I gone again for watching the movie ‘Suryavamsam’.
More than excitement, there was nothing that time.I was booked for a balcony seat.It gave me a different theatre experience.
The relation ship between me and this theatre lasted long.In 2007, when Ajith’s Billa got released, I gone for the first show.It was very hard to get the ticket.But I got one somehow.With this period, theatre experienced many changes.
A broad parking area formed in front.Ticket counters became three from one.Airconditions made cold and in fight scenes, I was shivering of cold.
Cushion chairs gave a luxuary look to the thetre .
Last in 2017, I have watched Araam movie from here.UFO screens made each figures crisp and clear.With movies and actors, theatres are also now became our parts of life.
VERDICT:
Theatre experience was very satisfactory.With family, this theatre is most suitable becouse of more number of seats and ticket counters.
But now there are many theatres in Chennai.All of them are good enough to give a real movie experience.Multiplux theatres have made laxurious shifts in our lifestyles.I do rate this theatre based on my personal experience.
