I’ve had a very bad experience with this company. Responding to their SMS advertisement, I contracted them about two months ago for a simple plumbing and leakage fixing job. The executive who turned up for a home visit said the leakage was from the bathtub that had to be replaced. I contracted them to replace the bathtub and then do the grouting work(to fix the leakage in the wall) and paid them Rs 2000(half the fee) in advance. Later, when I purchased the bathtub, they casually informed me that they don’t do any civil work but would be happy to do just the grouting work.
I told them that in order to find a permanent solution to my leakage issue, I would need the tub laid(i.e. the civil work done) before the grouting and they can’t do it they must refund my amount and I will get a mason to do it.
It’s been two months since I paid them by cheque(I have their invoice and all the supporting documents), the tub is finally laid(I found a mason) but they are not refunding my money, and have now even stopped taking my calls - hence this review. I’ve decided to file a case against them in the consumer court.
Please be warned that VFixIt is a fraud company and although they do have a call center service, they don’t have any grievance redressal mechanism.
