I have similar problem, I had purchased 42 lcd, on installation I found there was some problem with button panels, told to installation guys, 1st they deneid for problem then after some time they admitted , also there was some problem in tv, I had swtched set top box in av, & without remote or mobile’s interferance tv was continuously blinking within 1 min of gape....
Then after month I got replacement with so many fights with companu I got replacement, but again there was problem of blinking in AV system, it was so intanse that I switched of tv.
Never go for videocon, new chines ceo from videocon has only intention come may what just sell the product by grabing cheap chinease parts from home country.
NEVER GO FOR VIDEOCON & ITS systerconcern company’s (there are many but I don’t remember brand names)
