Once again, wish there were a half star or no star rating for products.Videocon needs to change its mobile phones name to "we do con" because other than me there are two other friends whose "high end" We-Do-Con phones have conked out within a month of usage. I recently had a big misfortune of buying Videocon V1305 and worse still buying it for my boyfriend as a temporary arrangement because his phone conked out and we were out of money. And, this is really just a temporary arrangement because the phone lasted only two weeks. After just about two or may be three weeks, the screen started showing a big blotch. We had bought it from the Planet M shop on Hill Road, Bandra West so we took it there and the super knowledgeable lady (I’m being sarcastic just in case you miss it ;)) told us that we’d have to take it to the service center to repair and gave us wrong addresses! So, we had to rely on Just Dial services to get the right info.
We were supposed to get the phone back from repairing after a week... now, I don’t know on what planet did they send it to for repairing because on Earth seven days make one week but on that other planet 23 days make a week! One had to make rounds of the service center to get the phone and every time they said, 3-4 days more. And, it wasn’t just us that were harrowed by the service center. There was a mob crying foul because they have been doing the same with everyone. We have finally got the phone back but guess what now there is some other problem. Calls get dropped after 15 seconds and one can’t make outgoing calls! We dread to take it back to the service center and my boyfi has an excellent idea... Ganpatiji ke saath isey bhi visarjit kar dein. That’s where ALL Videocon mobile phones deserve to go.
STEER CLEAR FROM BUYING VIDEOCON MOBILE PHONES! They only look sleak . Dikhaawe pe matt jaao! You can recommend it to someone if you want sweet revenge from them for something ;)
