I am Nanje Gowda from North Karnataka. I am passed out from IIT Madras in year 2005. I did my B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering.
I got a call from Vidura Inc on 26th May 2013, Sunday. The HR name is Riaz. He explained very nicely that They are working on Virtual Cloud, Cloud computing and Application virtualization. Very frequently he used the word "Predominantly". I am very much impressed with his words. He asked me to walk in the office at 100ft road any time between 10 am to 3 pm. He said Its an USA based company.
I was a bit surprised with this call, as it was Sunday, and walk in time is throughout the day and that too without any time. Even if they have drive, they should be having time slots. When I asked for my time slots, he said anytime is fine.
Then I got an interview with one two year experience guy. He was very nervous and scared. What ever I say he accepts. I am having 8 years of total work experience, and worked with IBM, Yahoo and JP Morgan. He said they have total 300 employees count.
Then hr informed me that I need to take another interview with CTO, Anand Srinivasan. He will be my manager too. He started with few questions, which I answered nicely, but seems that he did copied few questions from somewhere and he did not understand any of my answers. But he is smart enough to speak louder, and confident. Hence anyone can be fool. Really I bacame fool, and got impressed. I just thought of - "I will work Predominantly on Virtual Cloud, Cloud computing and Application virtualization". Then finally the demo of the project( Very impressive one) . The I asked, what I need to do here? He just smiled, and left.
Then I got my offer. It was 18 lakhs. It was excellent offer. I put my paper in Yahoo, and got ready for joining Vidura. Just about 15 days before joining Vidura, I got call from Anand Srinivasan, that I need to work on some work, before my joining. I did it, but I am under heavy pressure for my current work, as I needed my relieving letter properly from yahoo.
On my very first day, I needed to sign, an Indian bond paper( not NDA as for USA based companies) . I was very surprised, I started arguing with HR, he said its common for their employees. I said OK and signed.
Then Anand Srinivasan, came to me and explained me the work. I felt that the in the project, Nothing was so practical work. He said everything on Air. Nothing technically. Then, After one week, I got feedback that I am not doing well from Anand Srinivasan, and he may fire me. I was extremely surprised.
How can one judge within 5 days my performance? I am having 8 years of experience, And no one dared to say me this. One more thing I missed to say, I found only eight employees in their office. I was even more surprised. Then somehow I managed to work. No water, No food, No outing, No appraisal( as mentioned in offer letter every 6 months appraisal to be done) .
All of a sudden I got notice today, from Anand Srinivasan, that I am fired. Secretly I got to know that they have hired someone at 5 lakhs, they why they will continue to pay me at 18 lakhs. I am also not getting even mails for job, as I have stayed only for 4 months in my current company.
Now Anand Srinivasan, has started insulting me with abusive words, in front of all. Plz Think of my mind state, I have just gone mad. He just wants me to put resignation, so that company will not pay me further, and he can save money.
That’s all, my work with Vidura Inc. Now I am afraid that if I will get my relieving letter properly or not. I am in the Darkest of dark career. I am used and just thrown like ANYTHING. I have posted, many ads on IIT Alumini, please ignore them, and don’t get trapped.
One more update I have for you is, he has converted the Vidura Inc to Mobitrix i.e. he has renamed Vidura Inc to Mobitrix. If you type url vidurainc.com, then you will be redirected to mobitrix.io. I do not know, how many names, he will adopt different names, for just hiding his bad nature and mean mind. He must be fired and sentenced for his such bad intentions of using someone just for their needs. He should be punished for playing game with other’s career, as we are having our own family. What shall I do with spoiled career? How can I feed bread and butter to my family?
Please DO NOT JOIN Vidura Inc or Mobitrix. Now, you decide on your won. Freshers be careful.
