Good Infrastructure and Faculty, but dissatisfied with Campus Placements.
I’m not Satisfied with the Placements in our Batch, Companies such as TCS only recruit huge number such as 250 members from our batch. All other companies recruit in 4-10 members.Only 45-50% of students get Placed.The highest Salary offered was 5 Lakh per annum, the lowest was 2 Lakh per annum, the average was 3.5 Lakh per annum.Companies that visit our campus are Tata Consultancy Service(TCS), Tech Mahindra, Leap India, IBM, Veda IIT, NTT DATA, Efftronics, Osmosis, Voltas, Capgemini. Roles that are offered to students are Assistant System Engineer.70% of students got Internship from College.The highest stipend for Internship was Rs.45, 000/- for a duration of 6 Months, the lowest was Rs.7500/-.
The best thing our campus has is the Internet Facility.we have 1GB dedicated link to the Internet.we have access to Online Journals like IEEE-ASME etc. More than 1200 Computers and 20 Servers are available to students and faculty.Our campus is equipped with the best outdoor games like Football, Cricket, Volleyball, Basketball, Tennis, and 400-meter track for Athletics.We have 3 Ambulance in our University Premises.Best library with many Magazines, Newspapers, Journals, Curcullum books, Classrooms are well equipped with Projectors & new Infrastructure. Labs are fully equipped with AirConditioners.The quality of food is not good in the Canteen, need to be improved a lot.Only Delux Hostel room are good and well equipped with AirConditioners, Non-AC rooms are worst.No, I didn’t face any Infrastructure related issues.
All the faculty from our University were recruitment from the Top-Notch Prestigious IIIT’s and NIT, they are Highly qualified and Knowledgable.They used projectors to teach, teaching methods was really appreciable.We got to Industry Exposure in our Intern’s.The Curriculum was good, but need to be developed.
Excellent University with Highly Qualified Faculty, Infrastructure. But lacking in bringing Campus Placements that need to be Improved a lot, because a student expects only this from the University that he is going to join in.The best our University had is Library with a huge collection of books and magazines, Sports and games are excellent I play football and we are sent to South Zone InterUniversity Competitions held in Kerala, Tamilnadu.
