I purchased a 100gram bottle of Vijay Amla pickle for 90 rupees. I had never heard of this brand before and it is not available at any store except the one I got from. The only reason I purchased it was that there was no other brand selling an amla pickle.
I did not like this particular pickle as it was not up to the mark. Since I opened the bottle it is leaking from the lid, packaging is not proper. It has a weird and strange smell typically like some old rotten smell.
The amla pieces were so mushy and gooey that it felt as if it had turned bad.
The pack’s expiry date was valid and yet the product was so sad. I have had much better amla pickle in the past but that brand is no more manufacturing. Vijay pickle is a big no. I guess they do not use high quality oil or other ingredients hence the smell and below average taste.
