Pathetic customer service - customer service number always busy - supervisor never available - they promise a call back but never call. An hitachi a/c was delivered at my residence on the 19th of this month and even after several calls and personal visit to vijay sales Borivali branch, It is still not installed. It was promised a free installation at the time of purchase however the guys who came to install it gave me a quote of 6000/-, when asked to speak to a manager they refused saying it’s against company(hitachi) policy. The guys representing a company like hitachi were shabbily dressed and didn’t even possess a proper I-card. I don’t mind spending money and getting the a/c fixed privately which is much cheaper(Rs.4000/-)than paying hitachi even after paying installation charges, however, if I do it I will not be given any warranty. Today I even asked the vijay sales Borivali branch to take back the unit, hope they do it. I am fed up vijay sales as well as hitachi. The same model was available for rs.4, 000/- lesser than vijay sales online, however, I didn’t want to purchase it online coz was afraid of after sales services. I think purchasing it online would be better in terms of customer service as well as pricing.
