I watched yesterday Viruddh after waiting for the original print.
And the movie didnt let me down..in fact it suprised me...
The storyteller of the movie is John Abraham...he tells you the story...
Yeh movie Vidya(Amitabh) aur Sumi(Sharmila) ki life ki hai... a sweet couple, who love each other a lot...
Vidya ko sugar ki problem hai and Sumi is also a lil bit sick...like a young couple they discuss/fight a lot...because Vidya doesnt take care of his health and so does Sumi !
The person they love a lot is their son Aman (John)...he lives in London and studies there...he comes at home for birthday, so that he can spend time with his parents.
At the phone he informs them, that he is comin but tells his father, not 2 bring Sumi along at the airpor...without telling him the reason.....NOW...Vidya is confused, bcz Sumi is dyin to see her son and wants to go to airport..but somehow Vidya Sumki ko fool bannata hai aur chala jaata hai...
At the airport hee meets his song after long time, but Aman has got a surprise for them...ek Videshi Ladki, his girlfriend...and he is scared of his mother, bcz he thinks she wont accept him.
At home ...baaton mein uljha ko woh dono ( son and father ) Sumi ko Baat bata dete hain and she doesnt react baldy, in fact woh Anusha ( the new girl ) ki aarti utaarti hai...then happiness comes into their lives... they talk, they laugh , they fight everything...!
UNTIL....
John..their son dies...!
John is a very gud human being, who helps the ppl in their difficult situation..and when hee sees a girl being murdered...he attacks the boy and guess who is the boy...the son of the MINISTER....!
But John cant do anythin and the boy shots on John...there he dies !
BTW it his b-day day, and his wife, mom and dad r preparing his bday at home...
Omg...this was a touching scene...when Johns family comes to know abt his death...one just cant hold his tears....bcz everyone has played the role very well...escpeially AMITABH BACHAN !
.....I wont write the story ahead...watch the movie urself :- )... it worth watching once and with ur family !
About the performances :
VIDYA --- honestyl its one if his finest performances ...an award winning peformance...i really liked him.
SUMI --- so sweet...she really played her role very very gud ...I’d like to see more and more of Sharmila .
John -- he also acted very well... his role wasnt big but was very goood !
Anusha -- she is really gud...its her first movie and hope to see more of her.
Sunjay Dutt -- Oops I forogt to mention him :-P ( watch the move ) his role isnt very big but itz GREAT....mind blowing...!
Watch the movie atleast once...itz really very touching !
Watch it with family or alone !
