Hello
I am a past student of this college, No doubt that the college is good for discipline and placements if you graduate from the right branch. I graduated from this college about 6 years ago and then came to the US and did my MBA , today when I look back at VIT I wonder why we have not changed in the years. I must tell you especially about the Mechanical Department, The HOD Mr BHandari is practically leading a retired life, Mr Malwadkar is a professor who is in the wrong place. The rest of the bunch are a group of Babus who cannot speak a word in public but keep students scared by threatning dire consequences during Oral examinations and practicals, There are few professors like MR JB Bhandari, Mr Nalwade etc who seem to have never gone to any school in life and are just meandering along, To tell you the truth life in VIT is tough if you dont speak Marathi, you are from North India, COme on Mr Walame grow up and stop this threatning of students
