Neither Ghost nor Human

What a movie!

Please my friends, don’t give Vismayathumbathu a miss.

As expected from Fazil, there is suspense, lots of suspense.

This is a story of a young woman who’s neither a ghost nor a human!

Hearing that was reason enough for me to rush & watch this.

And ofcourse, when Fazil & Mohanlal team together, you can expect another fine, fine performance from Mohanlal. His acting range never ceases to wonder.

And about the heroine Nayanathara. She maybe a newcomer but look at the maturity in her acting. Such a role at such an early stage of her career. Any leading lady of Indian cinema would die for such roles. She has it to make to the tops.

Some of the scenes in the movie were really moving.

The ending scene where Mohanlal comes out from the ICU of hospital after succeeding in his mission, hugs Mukesh, Mukesh silently weeping with happiness.....

so touching.

This is one thing I like about Fazil-the way he handles such moving emotional scenes.

Okay, so is there any negative reviews for this movie?

Yes, I was pissed off by many in the audience (in the theatre where I saw this movie) who howled during many scenes. I feel majority of these were uneducated. Could be that an intelligent movie like this was beyond their grasping power.

I’m also very surprised that this movie did not succeed very well at box-office. Sad, really sad. Is it because this movie was too early for the Kerala audience? I do not know.

Anyway, another good family movie that you can sit back & see.

A final request to Fazil sir - please continue to make such movies & mesmerise us.
