Had been to Viviana Mall, Thane where parking is paid.Rs.20/- for parking upto 5 Hrs. and Rs.40/- after 5 Hrs. My fellow car owner please beware.! Here, is the hitch. I experienced myself when my check-in time was 11:18 Hrs and check-out time was 16:10, I was charged Rs.40/- As the fellow car owners behind me were honking their head off. I had to take my car aside and ask for the bill which I had to surrender for getting properly charged.(?) showing in-time.
Here, their Parking supervisor steps in and after making me wait for 20 odd minutes(which is enough to vanish the original ticket.), flashes out a ticket showing in-time of 11:08 Hrs. He even claims that there was no car entering at 11:18 Hrs. and he has personally checked the records. which is hard to believe. On weekend hundred of shoppers flocking the mall, 10 Multiplex screens beaming the hit films, one of the biggest malls on this side of the town. doesn’t have a single car coming at 11:18 Hrs.?
This sort of cheating does not happen in other malls like Korum Mall(Korum is managed by TATAs after all.no wonder).
