The Vivo V17 comes with a price tag of Rs. 21, 900 and it is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 chipset. This is a 8-core processor and I was hoping for the performance to be along similar lines of MediaTek Helio G80 chipset, which is also a 8-core chipset. To my dismay, it did meet the same expectations. For the performance of this chipset, the price seems a little too steep for me, personally. Along with this, there is an issue of overheating, which was new for me. As I was under the impression that Qualcomm dealt with the problem of overheating for a while now. But no. Due to all the heating beyond a normal level, there is a huge battery power drain. And this does not help much when the phone comes with a 4, 500mAh battery. You have to be handy with your charger set at all times if you are planning to use the phone for a longer time.
