Not so smart vivo v7

Vivo is continuing their selfie series smartphone in 18k-22k price range with full view display but in hd 720p resolution. Why? Same like v7+

In this price format all other smartphones comes with full hd or full hd + or amoled display resolution. That means lower pixel density as well. Still selfie lovers expect nothing instead of a good selfie camera with flash, that is out indian consumer mentality. They dont even know that what is processor cpu, gpu, ram. They only count in figures. 3gb of ram or 4gb of ram. But what about good processor, a capable gpu.

Vivo v7 comes with snapdragon 450 octa core chipset which runs upto 1.8 ghz along with 4gb of ram and 32gb of internal storage which can expandable through a dedicated micro sd card slot.

Battery is 3000 mah and screen ratio is 18: 9 full view 720p display measures 5.7. The display quality is not that good like amoled or full hd. Battery charge can lasts upto a single day with normal usage.

Now lets talk about camera. The rear camera is 16 megapixel and front camera is 24 mega pixel with both side flash. Selfies come out very nice in day light condition due to customized beautification mode. Though pictures are not like actual image. Exposure value is high and dynamic range is also good. But back camera is not that great. In day light back camera give results everytime differs. Dont know why. The zooming capability is poor. Indoor light or night time both camera can perform decent not value for money.

Software runs on android nougat and all the required sensors are provided along with finger print sensor which works well. The face recognition technology is also works fine in optimum light by front camera. Videos are also not that great still can record upto 1080p.

The display is protected with 2.5d curve glass and gpu is adreno 506.

The sound quality is good enough though sometimes with high audio quality the loud speaker cant perform well. In ear quality is good.

Built quality is average. The plastic body is not good. Feels cheap quality and low budget phones. Display corners and sides are not properly placed with body, smoothness is gone away. Not feel like premium handset in hand. Buttons are good. Design is okay. Back design is okay but vivo needs to improve design at front side. The edges are not smooth.

Network signals are good. No issues with that. 4g volte works fine. No issues with cal quality.

Customer service is not facing till now. But hope so that that will be fine.

Vivo charging their devices very high. They dont launch mid ranged device with good specs. In 18000 rupees the product should be good overall in indian market. Definitely not value for money.
