Although it was marketed as a camera-centric smartphone, the Vivo Y15a is nothing of the sort. First of all the 48MP camera is really not up to the mark maybe because the sensors it uses are not good enough or maybe it is the snapdragon processor which is not able to optimize it correctly. Either way it is disappointing. The phone keeps draining the battery way too fast which means that even though it comes with an impressive-sounding battery power of 5, 000 mAh, it is not really justified in real life. On top of that the 18W fast charging seems fast on paper but it really isn’t. Even though the phone comes with an 8GB RAM it does not seem to be any better than 10K phones which have 4GB RAM. This phone uses a very entry-level qualcomm snapdragon 665 chipset which is why the results are so disappointing. I would advise people to not spend 18K on a phone with below average functionalities and instead opt for something better at this price.
