I had purchased a new BPL mobile phone model 5052C last month. I must say, though it is not a sleek or trendy looking phone, its performance is excellent and for the price of around 2, 100, the phone had FM stereo with 20 station in memory. It is quite easy to use and the battery life is exceptionally good. I charge it once in three days and once in two days with FM running most of the time.
One interesting feature is that we can create our own dictionary of words. It has a multitude of good poly phonic ring tones. Coming from BPL which is trusted for its reliability, I have confidence that this product will be good. What I want is that if this product had been a bit more stylish, others like Nokia, Motorola will have a reason to worry about. The drawback, is that in roaming, it was a bit slow to latch on the the network, but once done, it was working quite well. The second drawback, is that the screen is not visible in bright sunlight.
