Good For Nothing

I took the Vodafone number-9711935555 in the month of Feb, it got suspended within 2-3days after activation and reason given is negative verification. Here I have not used the number for the full month but I have been charged with full rental for the month. And after some days it got activated automatchandru021y and then I start using it.


On dt. 25th March 2011 I asked for the activation of Vodafone live where monthly rental is Rs99/-.


Vodafone generated a bill on dt. 03th April of Rs682/- when I asked for the calculation they said.


(a)**Previous month Due: Rs 100*


(b)**Advance rental for Vodafone live: Rs 99*


(c)**Rental Vodafone live for the previous month: Rs 82*


(d)**Usage and rental for the month: Rs 401*


So I called up at customtakeouter care Vodafone(111) around 10th April and complained about the wrong charges(a, b and c) added in the bill and for the rectification and I was told that rectification will be done in 24 to 48-hours and message will be sent for that and request number given is-156174740. I did not receive any confirmation sms for rectification of bill as committed by Vodafone care. In the meantime, I have received phone calls for the payments ALSO but when I asked for the rectification of the bill, Call back was committed BUT AGAIN I DIDN’T RECEIVE ANY CALL.


I called up again on dt 03rd May 2011 at Vodafone care with this request number-156174740, they are the saying that this request number is not for the billing issue but for the general query. I have taken the 2-corporate connections so there is no point calling up at Vodafone care for general query. AND WHEN I CAN MAKE THE PAYMENT ON MY 2nd NUMBER WHICH IS-99530 91919 OF Rs.842/- ON DT.14TH April, so there is no point of not making the payment on 1st number(9711935555)


I have written email @ Corporatecare.del@vodafone.com’sushma.nodal@vodafone.com’; vivekg.delhi@vodafone.com; vodafonecare.mum@vodafone.com;vodafonecare.del@vodafone.com to the, on 3rd may stating my problems for billing but till today which is 06th May I am receiving only template copy paste email from the 3rd different person from Vodafone.


Given below chart as well but USELESS AGAIN.

We would like to inform you that earlier we received a mail from your end to activated VL@99 on you Vodafone mobile number on dated 25/03/2011 hence we charged as per your activated Vodafone live plan so that we regret to inform you that we can not reverse the charge.


Received email on 25/03/11, hence charged accordingly

We would like to confirm you that a service is activated or deactivated only once we receive a request from the user of the connection.Our records indicate that the Vodafone Live is activated dated 2/5/11 as per your request and you have been charged correctly for the same.


That VL is activated on dt. 2/5/11, hence charged correctly.

We would like to inform you that as per our records you Vodafone live @ 99 unlimited plans was activated dated 28/03/2011. As you have requested for the service on 25/03/2011. We would like to inform you that we activate or deactivate only the services as per customtakeouter request. Hence you have been charged correctly and we will not able to reverse the amount.

We would like to inform you that as per our procedure Vodafone live and Vodafone mobile connect service is a fixed rental service hence you will b charged as a fixed rental including usage.


VL is the fixed rental so charged accordinly.

We would like to inform you that Vodafone live service charge in two parts as below:

  1. Rs.83.03 for dated 08/03/2011 to 02/04/2011(as prorated basis)

  2. Rs.99 for dared 03/04/11 to 02/05/11(advance for the next month)

charged from 08/03/11 to 02/04/11, hence charged correctly on prorata basis.
