I had been a Hutch Postpaid customer in Kolkata for quite sometime. ATleast enough time experience the atrocious customer service in this competitive market.
I made a payment by cheque and my line was disconnected becuase the chque had not been collected from the dropbox. Then I made an online payment through My Hutch. Still my connection was not restored. Ultimately I had to surrender my connection and opt for AirTel because it was disturbing my profession.
Im the application to surrender my connection, I had explicitly asked to adjust my deposits. When I received the final bill, my deposits were not adjusted and a Rs 907 had been added as Adjustments. Since I am a very busy person with tight schedules, I could not go to a Hutch Shop to clarify the details of the adjustments.
Then after a month I got a call from some relationship manager, requesting me to re connect. He also told me that another bill also had been generated with a Rs 100 fine for late payment/non payment and Rs67 for non usage. Both the charges would be waived if I reconnected. So, Hutch charges you not only for your usage but also for Non usage after you Surrender your Connection. Can You believe it?
Well I then decided to find time and visit a Hutch Shop. There I was told that my deposits would be adjusted and they would verify the Adjustment charges of Rs 907. After a lot of Hulla Bulla, they told me that Rs 907 had been added by mistake and the scene was reversed. Finally the picture was that I would receive a cheque of Rs 135 approx after adjusting my deposits.
So, it is clear that you have to burn a lot of fuel and visit a Hutch Shop, waste your valuable time with the so called executives there to explain them their mistakes and make a lot of noise if you want to get things done and receive excellent service.
In todays competitive market, a cell phone connection needs to ease your work, reduce your operational time with less movement but with Hutch I can promise you that you will always be active with a lot of running around thus burning a lot of cholestrol. Yeah it is a Healthy Connection.
Now I am with Airtel and very satisfied.
