Vodafones Customer Service Executives are again asking Marathi customers in Maharashtra to speak in either English or Hindi. If the customer refuses to speak in Hindi or English, they pretend that they do not understand what customer is saying and disconnect the call. I have uploaded the voice recording of one of such calls on YouTube for a proof. Here is a link - https://youtu.be/06jiXSB63Ts
Most of the Customer Service Executives are arrogant and looks like Vodafone is protecting them for some reason; otherwise they will not dare to speak in such arrogant tone with a customer without having fear of losing the job.
In all other regions of India, Vodafone provides service in the regional language, then what is the problem in providing the same kind of service in Maharashtra?
If Vodafone does not verify if the customer is Non-Marathi or Marathi before providing their connection, then why are they creating problems to them after they made money from these customers?
What if a customer in Maharashtra does not know any other language than Marathi. Will Vodafone not provide service to such customers at all? Then why do they have IVR language setting option in the first place?
If Vodafone is “Happy to Help” like they say, then are they restricting this service only from Marathi Customers and Maharashtra?
I request Vodafone to provide service in Marathi to Marathi customers in Maharashtra. Also, I suggest them that they should hire more Marathi candidates from Maharashtra and if they hire Non-Marathi candidates to serve Marathi customers in Maharashtra, then they should ask their Non-Marathi employees to learn Marathi.
I want answers for all my questions and solution for the problems I have mentioned. Hope you will look into the matter soon.
Thank you.
