Now it is been 3 days, I am trying to get the GPRS enabled on my phone. The support rep asked me to send the SMS "ACTVMC199" to 111 to get the service activated and further in 4 hour you will get a confirmation email that the service is activated (I never got). Calling up Customer service again confirmed the service activated. Now they asked me to send the SMS to get the settings on the phone but I never got the settings, The next Day I called up the Rep confirms I send this to the engineering and they will send the settings from there end will take just 30 min, as expected Nothing!!
I called up after 4 hours same reply "we send it to the engineer and they are sending it again" Upon asking for the supervisor they reply as if they do not understand my language (all this while my words were clear) finally after insisting a log he said I am transferring and in less then a minute the call got disconnected.
Called up the support again as I still do not have the settings. I heard the same story again "we send it to the engineer and they are sending it again". On asking to put me to your Team Lead/Manager/Supervisor he acted strange again, after pushing he confirmed Ill transfer but you will be on hold for 10 minutes. 10 MIN HOLD TIME ON ESCLATION "WTF" But I WAITED FOR 20 MIN AND THE CALL GETS DISCONNECTED AFTER THAT.
After lot of trouble I got the technical person online and got the manual settings and Now the connection is working.
HOWEVER> THIS IS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER SEEN > EVEN THE GOVERNMENT DEPARTMENTS HAVE IMPROVED A LOT THESE DAYS....
