I am so disappointed with their customer service. They need to train those guys better. First, To speak slowly, so people can understand them. I think their motto is to delay things so that the customer eventually forgets the problem or gets too busy to ask for a resolution. To any question, their favorite line is "mam, this problem will be solved in half hour" I think they should change their line from "happy to help" " to "Anything and everything in half hour". If I asked for world peace, I know what to expect from a vodafone customer service "mam, in half hour" .
The last time I spoke to a customer service agent about checking my bill online, I had to call them 9 times and they kept saying they would reset my password. I kept trying to explain to each and every service personnel that there was something wrong with their server or network because the password was not the problem. Eventually after 4 hours, the last guy was apologetic and told me they were having server problems for the past 2 days and their engineers were working on it.
How about keeping your customer service personnel updated and not wasting our time. These people are trained and equipped with the bare minimum. Any questions related to their web, and they just reset the customer password. Thats their solution. They are like the talking parrots. They repeat the same things that they are trained to without understanding any of it.
Most of us customers are reasonable. If we know its a server problem, then tell us and we will understand and wont bother you. But dont send us on a wild goose chase like we are a bunch of idiots. The funny part was during my conversations, the customer service personnel often told me that they couldnt hear me because my voice was breaking up and to please help them and I said "Darling, its your network and service, I cant help you there, you are supposed to help me"
The customer service people are very polite for the first few minutes. If you persist and talk beyond a few minutes, most of them are rude and will actually cut you off. Their the shold is just the first 3 minutes. If you dont like talking to people, then dont be in customer service. I usually dont call customer service, because I hate dealing with customer service but the rare occasion that I have , I just want to cancel my service which I may because there are lot of other companies out there and I live in the free world. I dont think Vodafone is doing me any favor. I am paying for their service and a shitty (for want of better word) one at that.
