One year in Bangalore, 6 months, Hutch, 6 Months Airtel, Found Airtel much better in all respect.
I am not a very hard user of mobile. I use my mobile only on need basis. When I came to bangalore, My bro who was already here asked me to take a hutch sim, and at that time it seemed to be a very valuable option as airtel bangalore network was not that strong, and additionally hutch was giving a Hutch - Hutch free sms scheme and everyone I knew here had hutch, so opted for it.
But the problems quickly started, most of the times I did not have network reaching my mobile(My home and my work place both) but yes they were very efficient in sending missed call messages when I was not available.
Then they took away the free sms facility and put on a lot of other charges, I don’t know what for. Then suddenly one day I found that since my balance got to 0 they stopped incoming calls as well for me. That pissed me off. It was 11 in the night and I was expecting an important call from a friend in US, but because of this trouble I could not get it.
I called the customer care and asked them about it, but they had a very harsh reply saying they can not do anything about it.
So overall hutch has been a bad experience here in bangalore.....
