HUTCH PRE-PAID sucking services

WHOMSOEVER IT MAY CONCERN

This is to take your attention to HUTCH PRE-PAID sucking services...which I have been using for more than 2years now.

Paid thousands in recharge, service taxes etc. etc. and fraud debits on Cash Card is what all I have experienced.

For past few months, its stinking like anything...above all HUTCH services, is their 300-customer care number, reps there are so novice to their product and market that they know nothing and waste callers’ time. supervisors and managers are always busy in meetings, like the ones Jaspal Bhatti used to carry on with.

You know, number of reps have confirmed that they are new to this job, and some told me that they never used mobile. Manager also confirmed that he never tried Hutch GPRS, so he dont know how the services are.

Moreover, Hutch policies are effective overnite without any customer intimation.. SMS being blocked on festive times and general excuse given is ’’Network Congestion/Upgrade’’. Barred incoming/outgoing even with enough balance in cash card.

GPRS never connects and if you are fortunate enough to get it connected, the connection will lasts for hardly few minutes and then banged by message ’’connect lost, try again and then again connecting connecting connecting with ’’G’’ sign on upper-top corner with no WAP page displayed. GPRS in India is occupied largely with downloads and it feels extremely good when you download wallpapers from Hutch-MSN homepage, cash card gets debited and no wallpapers are downloaded or received on the handset (Nokia 6610/ Nokia 6600).

GPRS is charged Rupees 99/- per month auto-debit to the cash-card, MMS included. If in case, your cash-card balance goes into negative BECAUSE OF AUTO-DEBIT:

1)GPRS gets deactivated (although you have paid in advance).

2)MMS gets blocked.

3)SMS gets blocked.

4)Calls gets barred.

Now, in my case when I have encountered this, it was terrible time. I wasn’t sure about auto-debit, need to make emergency call (i was on highway in NCR-Delhi itself) and landline was not available. Moreover, I used to recharge Cash-Card thru my CitiBank CC and this needs to send SMS, but SMS was blocked. Further, I tried 600 number to get this recharge and came to know the MPIN which is required for CitiBank CC recharge is also blocked. As I was on Highway, HDFC ATM was out of reach, so ATM Pre-paid refill option was also not available. The only option left was re-charge coupon, which is certainly not available with Highway Dhabas.

I have spoken to number of reps. supervisors and manager too (finally) but Hutch Policy doesn?t even allow to send one SMS to recharge. That stinks like a dead rat!

Talking about MMS, they work only between Hutch-2-Hutch GPRS users, zero-compatibility with other service providers. This is what Hutch Technology Relations are.

Let’s move onto Roaming now, it’s auto-roaming activated (Pre-paid), reps says available throughout India, but that?s a false statement. I was in Jaipur, Bombay, Goa, Moradabad, etc. etc. but Hutch/Orange ****, nothing worked and after return when I discussed this with 300 number-reps, they said might be network problem or roaming not available on my number or not enough balance available....that?s fraud business !!!!

I am using Hutch for long just ’coz of the number I have and for their connectivity, but now I feel its time to think again...

I forgot to include instances at 300-customer care number, so here they are:

Hutch had TV-promos during World Cup about Treasure Hunt/and most recent was Outlook accessible thru Hutch GPRS enabled handset promo, when I called and asked about the same, the rep(s), (I must include that I confirmed with 3-4 reps) were not aware of those at all and said that there’s no promotion ON.

Another incidence, my Nokia 6610 and Nokia 6600 keep resetting it’s clock ahead, the moment I connect to GPRS. I was surprised on this and when called, the rep(s) final statement (after consulting a manager, as I was informed) was to call Nokia, that?s a handset problem, as none of other customer has reported such issue. Later on researching at my end, I found that Hutch works with MSN and the servers are located in UK, so server time gets updated on handset when I connect to GPRS. I changed the handset time setting and its all UP now.

There are number of other instances available, but there is no point jotting them here as ’’300’’ sucks and will remain as it is, it’s India meri jaan.

GPRS 99 was charged in advance and service got deactivated and then they again charged 99 for activation (which I never requested), it’s July 10th today, let’s see if they again charge me on 15th (as that?s their regular billing cycle).

Let me tell you few more things, which are part of this ongoing harassment by Hutch.

GPRS when under deactivated period, I was continuously receiving ’’Service Messages’’ in my GPRS Service Inbox’’ day-evening. These messages are not SMS nor MMS. They are promo links by HutchWorld to download Games. Note: these messages are only for GPRS subscribers and I was still receiving them when I didn?t have services. I requested repeatedly to deactivate the same, but my requests went into vain.

The reps keep on giving me 24-72 hrs. time frame to fix it with numerous complaint IDs, and supervisors too provided me with same assurances BUT no active resolutions yet.

Above all, I keep getting calls by Hutch DSA’s to upgrade this number to Post-Paid, Y should I do that? And if will, beware billings will be bouncing back, as that would be the only way out of my frustrations.

God Bless Hutch!

Aisa hi chalta raha to bache kuche customers bhi kho dega.
