Port In to vodafone woes

I was having a problem with Airtel network & decided to port into Vodafone in hope to get better network. Vodafone representative came to my office to collect all documents & gave me the new sim.


Then the trouble started, my phone was out of service without any intimation by vodafone, then I inserted the vodafone sim in my mobile hoping to get some network. But there was no network, I called vodafone customer care repeatedly & got the answer that my phone will start working in couple of hours.


It took nodal officer to address the problem that I was issued a wrong sim & nodal officer told me to get new sim from vodafone store which is 20 kms from my office or wait for another 48 hrs to get a new sim by courier.


I am suffering due to inefficiency of vodafone representative & being punished for vodafone’s mistake, whereas the proper way should be that the vodafone should have sent their representative to my office with new sim on urgent basis.


Vodafone should change slogan Happy to help. This is against their way of working.
