Today I am going to review a Voltas 1 Ton 5 star Split AC. We purchased this unit 2 years back in the summer season. Since then one or the problem is happening. First of all I was not happy with the behaviour of dealer he was supposed to be nice but instead he was showing us ego that if you want to buy then buy otherwise go somewhere else. So we didn’t bought it from that dealer we bought it from some other shop. He even offered us some cash discount. The service of Tata product has never been good it happens with other TATA product also so I was not surprised. Talking about the cooling and efficiency of the AC it was decent for a 1 Ton AC but I was expecting more since the brand TATA is very good in terms of product quality. Although a constant humming sound comes out even after you switchoff the AC.
Reliability comes with the brand name of TATA so I have nothing to say about it. But I am not satisfied with the product because of poor customer service, poor performance. I think there are lot more brands in the market which are doing better in terms of price of the similar product. I only bought this because TATA is an Indian company and I want to support Indian economy not foreign companies.
In the end it is not recommended.
