HI Guys, I purchased Voltas 183CY 1.5 ton AC last year i.e 2015. As soon as warranty get over, the AC started to show problems. Cooling reduced so much that I can’t even tell you. I live in delhi and the heat we face is too much to bear but this AC don’t help us in keeping my room cool. AC don’t works simply. I wait for its compressor to switch on for endless hours but AC blows only hot air. I called a technician to resolve this problem. He said that the Motherboard of the AC is damaged so you need to change the mother board. I changed it. It started working fine. For 2 months I faced no issues but after that the same problem arises. AC starts blowing hot air like before. This is so annoying and frustrating in this hot summers when you die to sit in AC and your AC blows hot air.
Its not that loud while working but makes noises for 5 minutes when it is Switched on.
So I called the technician again. He checked the AC again and said, sir again the motherboard got damaged. And I was what the hell. So I recommend you guys not to buy this AC as it is of no use. Go for some other model or some other brand but voltas is a big NO from my side. I purchased another AC last year of different brand and that is working flawlessly.
Don’t waste you time and money on this product, be a smarter person and choose some other product because this product is really not reliable and my experience with this is unsatisfactory.
