We have bought a Voltas 1.5 T Split AC during July, 2009, at Shah, Chrompet, Chennai.
All my friends & well wishers advised me not to go for this brand as the after sale service is not satisfactory. With due respect to their experience, I have booked VOLTAS for 2 reasons:
It is one of the Indian Product - My money is going to Indians, by & large( Not just for TATA Brand alone!)
The Dealer has assured us of a comfortable service(Obvious for any dealer, of course!).
To our pleasant surprise, the after sale service from VOLTAS seemed to be COMFORTABLE, so far, as assured by the vendor!
By God’s grace, there is no specific / major issues even after 25 months of moderate usage; One Special Advice by our vendor is to use a double capacity Stabiliser, as Poor Voltage is very common in our area.
WE BELIEVE & ADOPT THE FOLLOWING PRINCIPLES TO GET THE BEST OUT OF IT! BUT THIS NEED NOT BE FRUITFUL FOR ALL!
i. ANY BRAND-ANY VENDOR - THE APPLIANCE HAS SET WELL WITH US;
ii. THE VENDOR IS TRUE TO HIS WORDS ON SERVICING;
iii. THE VENDOR’S ADVICE FOR SUITABLE STABILISER PROVED WORTHY FOR US;
iv. WE USE THE AC, IN A MODERATE MANNER - SETTING TEMPERATURE BETWEEN 23 TO 25;
WE USED TO SET TIMER FOR 1 TO 2 HRS WHILE GOING FOR BED - MILD CEILING FAN
FOR THE NEXT 2 HOURS - SET FOR 1 MORE HOUR OF AC - NEXT 2 HOURS FAN .
