I booked a VRL bus to travel from Bangalore to Hyderabad on 15th of June, 2012 for 4 members. Below is my experience.
Bus Quality and in-bus service -
Although the bus was apparently reasonably priced but when I enter the bus, I figured the bus quality is damn cheap. Isuzu buses are in general bad and the same happened here. There’re no leg or foot rest given on seats, a/c cannot be adjusted as per need and there were no charging point available.
Staff Behavior -
When it came to staffs, they simply decided not to listen to passengers. Many complaints about loud TV and change of movie, but seems it’s driver’s favorite. Some other bus met with an accident, and even Police were there to handle the case even then, bus staffs went on the spot and waster 2+ hours without informing us what’s going on?
Punctuality -
There’re almost 3 hours delay in bus arrival. Seems they don’t care about passengers time.
Pro -
Only one pro I can think of this service is the staff’s knowledge of the area. They knew places in Hyderabad correctly and helped us reach the closest distance from home.
