Vijayanand RoadLines(VRL) a well known brand group in North Karnataka or Karnataka as a whole. I use to use their service since long time when there was no option but VRL. I used VRL travels lot of times to travel from my home town(Belgaum) to Bangalore. Here I wish to share my bad experiences with there service.
I was working in Belgaum, and In the month of August 2006 I had to attend an interview in Bangalore at 11.30 am at Global Village ITPL. The day before my interview I booked one seat from VRL sleeper coach. Bus was at 8pm and it was supposed to reach Bangalore at 7am. As I had interview next I thought I will sleep well so that I won’t get much tired and so I slept. When I woke in the morning at 6 am bus was stopped at Chitradurga(there is big VRL bus stop). I asked a fellow passenger still how much time it may take to reach Bangalore. He replyed minimum 4 hours. I thought okay I will rush to the interview venue directly. Bus left chitradurga and at 10 am near Tumkar tyre got punctured and see there service they don’t even had a spare tyre to replace. For our goodness that day one passenger was carrying some old truck tyres for retrading. So he gave one tyre to replace somehow they replaced and bust started again after sometime tyre got burst! what now? we got into another VRL bus which going to Bangalore and believe it I reached Bangalore at 2pm. Did I attend that interview? guess If I had attended I would have not written this review!
Recently I relocated to Pune from Bangalore. So I sent my Bike, TV and DVD player to Belgaum dist Athani(my home) through VRL curier. They promised me that my stuff will reach the destination within 3 days. But they tookantire 11 days to deliver my goods. I paid 2100 Rs to them for that. Also, my bike got few scratches(its my new bike). Thank god atleast they delivered.
There are several instants where I have faced such bad service from VRL. Even when I was coming to Pune from Bangalore VRL got Brokedown and I reached 3 hours late. Also, I heard so many people saying VRL people do not care there customers. Initially they were only choice for travelling to Bangalore or other major cities but now a days we have plenty of travel services available. So, go for some other travels rather than going for VRL and experiencing their bad service.
Hello VRL guys...wake up and improve your service level otherwise you will lose your business because in todays market Customer is KING!
