VSNL has matured its services since last one year. Supported by better infrastructure, VSNl dial up speed access has improved at least in the cities.
You can get connected easily with VSNL. The webmail layout is better than other ISPs. The speed is OK at least bearable.
There are innovative features like interactive dialer and related gift schemes. The dialer is better than usual dialer. Also the home page gives lot of leverage to surfing.
SUpport services however are poor. No body cares their to listen and solve your problem. This aspect definately needs improvement.
But still I will maintain VSNL is better than the rest
