I travel a lot, based at Lucknow & Delhi. Errlier VSNL accounts could be accessed from anywhere. So I tried to economise and subscribed to Vsnl’s cost-effective offer. Installed on my computer.
I never realised that this subscription is a fraud - attached to server ’bom9’, which can be accessed at only six places in India even though, the CD and other details provided explicitly state that Autoroaming in India is included.
It was not possible to change even the passworld.
