This company is seriously trying to break the monopoly of likes of’samsung’ and LG - by offering very competitive products. I appreciate and respect that but what I don’t understand is why does a company which is a subsidiary of Zenith Computers(Zenith Computers owner’s daughter is the CEO) claim this company to be a’California based company’.
I don’t understand the California connection at all, beside I don’t understand why California? If it was US based or San Jose based - it would have made sense to use that as their claim to fame. Its like saying that Dr. Reddy’s is an Andhra Pradesh based company to an American audience. Why the Californian fixation? I’m sure its products by virtue of being competitively priced and high in quality(assumption) would be equally respected if their claim to fame was’Proud to be Indian’ the way Videocon stands.

Get your facts right people, gone are the days when anything Amereekan was bought blindly by the foren starved desi consumers, and USA stood for Ulhasnagar Sindhi Association. All in all - have some self respect and respect your nation and drop CALIFORNIA from your branding. Nuff Said.
