I visited my hometown (Dehradun) recently and on the first day itself I noticed the new Wah Ji Wah outlet on the busy Chakrata Road market.
Was delighted by the first glimpse as all Delhi outlets for WJW have been the best so far to me. I quickly grabbed a menu card (which was equally similar to it’s Delhi counterparts) and rushed home to check if family was interested in a quick home delivery of my favorite kebabs.
We discussed the menu for 20 odd mins and the rest 1 hour was useless for us!
1st Blooper: I called in the first number on the menu which was picked by a lady who refused it was the WJW outlet.
2nd Blooper: Called the 2nd number and confirmed if Home Delivery was possible. My home is hardly 2 kms from the outlet and they claimed upto 3km. The guy who answered wasn’t sure if they could deliver. Placed my call on HOLD for 10 mins and called another guy. He confirmed it was possible and handed the phone back to the 1st guy. The first guy asked me to tell the order and placed the call on the table.
I repeated thrice to confirm he was on the line (as I could hear people talking on the other end) but there was no response back to me.
3rd Blooper: I disconnected thinking some problem in the line. Called the same cellphone number around 10 times and each time the silly guy picked up the phone and kept talking to his other customers.
INSULTING and IRRITATING at the same time !! Would not recommend this outlet to anyone ELSE others had a different experience.
My request to the Dehradun Outlet: Please don’t spoil your parent chains name. Delhi people like it a lot.
Delhi Team: If you get a chance to read this... Give them some hands-on training in customer care before they start taking orders !!
