Watchable once!!!!

Went to this movie to wail away the time, and the movie lived up to my expectations, and certainly was a watchable if not entertained me. The main theme of the movie is very much like Farhan akthars "Lakshya", a teenager suffering from social pressure to get something out of his life...

Suppose to have goals, objectives, career centric thoughts etc, and the movie is about the circumstances he goes through to find himself in so-called "life’s hurdles".... I thought it was boring stereotype plot..nothing new in it? Indeed I felt Hrithik had done a splended job as "spoilt rich brat" than ranbir kapoor. Having said that Ranbir done a decent job for his level of experience, especially as he has nice persona as a filthy rich guy’s son... which came out naturally I think. Konkana sen did a fine job as usual.

I am not sure the movie fits into which category, it does not have good comedy, neither it is a suspense/thriller, nor good sense of plot/drama. The plot was simple and executed in a documentary style. All the characters justified their roles well. The only exception being of the mother-son(rannbir) relationship came out very unnatural, did not really emit much emotions as much as father(anupham kher)-son(ranbir) connection. The movie could be watched lazing on sofa, on some sunday afternoon, so you need to wait for the release of the DVD.

The real life of the movie is the music, which is excellent, and something which makes you soulful...as most of the movie background score is on the guitar strumms.... nice and foottapping...enjoy!

The best scene, which I liked the most was the way, the movie ends....perhaps maybe because it was also time to leave the cinema hall :-) :-) On serious note, the movie ends with a solid punch line, and it is the only place which made me laugh. This for the people who had already seen the movie would understand which dialogue I am talking about -

Ranbir kapoor says --- "You could had told me; this thing at home. You need not; have to write a full article for that.." :-)
