The Fall of an Empire, America's War on Iraq

I have watched the events of America’s war on Iraq, and my heart is broken. I can not express my anger, and sadness enough for the fall of the Iraqi umpire. This is a unnecessary, illegal, and unjustified war. Yesterday I watched the news and I was shocked at the jubilant responses from the Iraqi people when the U.S. troops arrived in Baghdad. I expected a severe resistance from the Iraqi soldiers I just didn’t think this part of the war was going to be easy for the U.S. I was sadden with anger as I saw the statue of President Saddam Hussein ripped and torn down, and dragged through the streets along with the chants of the Iraqi people praising George Bush for toppling their leader, and destroying their country.

You may hate me for saying this, but my heart bleeds for this fallen leader, Saddam Hussein and his country as there is no peace there now, crime is rampant, and there is no Government which now makes this country a law-less one. My knowledge of this war and the political events that triggered it is limited. However, I do know this much this war happened because America was not interested in the UN (United Nations) resolutions along the the UN’s policy, and laws which restricted them to invade Iraq.

According to the UN law President Saddam Hussein had to disarm any weapons of mass destruction. President Saddam Hussein constantly told the UN, and the international community he had no weapons of mass destruction.

My beliefs are that this war stems from America’s support of Israel, and George Bush’s desire to carry on the legacy of his father’s (George Bush Sr. than president of the United States) failure to overthrow Saddam Hussein during the Golf War. President George Bush’s desire is to murder Saddam Hussein rather than capture him, and try him as a war criminal.

In this case it is American President, George Bush and his administration who should be tried as war criminals for their evil acts of aggression and this war along with the UN laws they have violated. Now that America has toppled Iraq’s regime it is now America’s desire to make Iraq a Euro. democratic society, and disregard this nations most scared religious way of life of Islam/Muslim. America will install a puppet government to ensure its everlasting control of Iraq, and its wealth (oil).

America will lie to the American people with the use propaganda of Iraq’s liberation, Saddam Hussein and their projected role in this war. Todate, there has been no weapons of mass destruction found, there is no evidence of Saddam Hussein’s involvement and support of any acts of terrorism against the US. I therefore conclude America’s true interest is not to liberate Iraq but to commit murder, and control this country. I also wish to add the Iraqi people will not accept any installed Government by the US there will be more political unrest in Iraq. With this blessed hope the US will accomplish nothing, and the people of Iraq will one day be free.

While America now celebrates her victory for crushing a small country, and killing thousands of innocent Iraqi people. I belive America’s victory will be short lived. America is even more hated by the world, and has lost her credibility. America will face many months and years of terrorism and fear like we’ve never seen. It will not be safe for any American to travel outside of their country. America will not have peace only the illusion of peace from its own TV, newspapers, media of lies.

Judgement day is coming for America. As for Saddam Hussein, he may be a wicket man, he may have slaughtered and brutalized his own people. But this does not justify this war as America would like for us to believe.

I believe any leader who violates his own people should be judged by his own Government/country, and not by any other powers except a divine one. I close by saying God bless America, for you know not what you do. Judgment day is coming for you.
