I always loved wars.It started when I was in school.It dunno what was happening but the atmosphere in teh class room was somewhat different.some one told me that there was a USA-Iraq war.The word war only meant Bombs and machine guns to me.What will happen if some one dropped bomb at my school.WOW.the thought pleased me extremely and prayed secretly for the war to continue.
It was in high school that studied about the War for independence in INDia and the the two World wars.I studied the realities of war.Bhagat SIngh inspired me but Hitler.Man how I hated him when my teacher told us the concentration camps.ANd the people who had lost their relatives in the holocaust.I thought I was living in a world safe from these people but.
THEn a few months back when I heard Mr Bush threatening Iraq to surrender all their’Weapons of Mass destruction(WMD)’ I did not have the slightest idea that it wouldbe a prelude to a war.United Nations intervened and declared that there WMD’s were not found.But what did USA do?They went ahead with their idea of attacking Iraq and destroyed it.And removed all the’WMD’s’ and also took control of their wells.
It was then that it dawned upon me the true intentions of the US.What they actually wanted was the control of the Oil wells.And what sis they do for it?They went to the extent of destroying the economic structure of Iraq so badly that it would take another decade or so fro it to recover.people were rendered homeless and banks were looted.It was to these that Bush has’promised’ freedom from the tyranny from Saddam Hussain.ha! what a farce really.Freedom from Saddam.Atleast he provided them with homes and all the basic amenities.But now why would BUsh bother?HE is busy attending G-8 summit and all others when people in Iraq are struggling for food.
What on earth is United Nations doing?It does what the US says it to do.US attacks a country and United Nations can not say anything against it and later after the war has shattered the life of millions it provides relief and other things.What nonsense?When stopping the war should have been its first priority all does is provide relief.
And what has the war led to?Nothing.nothing but only death of thousands of innocent who would not bothered if either Saddam was ruling or not.They would have carried on their lives normally.But no Bush wouldnot leave them alone.he drags them all into the war and he destroys the city of Baghdad searching for Saddam’s brother, His great grandfather, .He can revive back the economy of the country but canhe give back the people what they have lost.can he give back an orphan his parents, A Father his son.Never.And what would it do.create another 1000 BInladens.DOes the world need it?Not in the least.
All this reason of helping the peoplae of country is horse s.he wanted the Oil wells and he got it.All he was doing was just to continue from where his father left off.Now iraq is in ruins.God help them.
