Friends I know Wasim Akram since I have been know to the game of cricket as a very good Pakistani bowler, but as I started knowing cricket more in detail then I took him in light and now due to his talent, skills and abilities he is one of my favourite bowler.
When he started his career way back in 1984 he stunned everybody by his abilities of mastering the ball, he has wonderful ability of swinging the ball either way according to the field setting and it works quiet effective for him even his yorkers are not easy to duck out and they just land as he want them to
and very few bowler are able to do this, in all he is bowler who cannot be devoured easily by any batsmen even if he is of Tendulkar’s class.
The most important thing that I like about him is that he never loses hopes and keeps trying his best till the ends the expressions on his face are truely like a soilder fighting for his country and I think in his captaincy the Pakistani team looks more composed and comfortable.
Not to neglect his batting which is also very nice he can bat in any style as the stitutation prevails him to, he perfect example of classical batting is his knock of 257 against the Zimbaweans and as we all know he is also a hard hitter specially against the spinners and his lofted shot over the Mid-Wicket boundary is worth wacthing which goes sailing into the back stands of the stadium.
At last I would like to say that he is one the best among the few whom the pakistanis has produced and he will surely be remembered in the generations to come as all time great allrounder of Pakistan.
