There is no doubt that age catches up with everybody, the greatest don bradman was bowled out by the age factor, so I think everybody in every field has to face similar problems.but without any doubt waseem akram is the greatest bowler that the past decade has seen, it isnt a coincidence that he has 400 wickets in both versions of the game.without any doubt he is the best bowler the world has seen in the past decade,
it would be very heartening to see our selectors giving opportunities to promising players who could probably end up being the next waseem akrams for our country, but given the sorry state of selection in our country, what with all the politics and money involved in the game I dont think that any promising player of his caliber would get a chance unless he has the blessings of the selectors aside from the fact that he be a very talanted cricketer.its high time our selectors took a few tips from the pakees in promoting raw talent without having any personal interest involved.hope to look forward to a very talented new indian cricket team, that is GOD and the selectors willing.
