WD is a well known name esp when it comes to external hard drives. Recently I bought WD hard disk and I am very satisfy with the performance of the drive. The data transfer speed of the drive is very good. There are various alternatives but I chose WD because of handyness and attractive design. So if anyone is thinking about buying an external hard disk then WD is a touch competitor of the Seagate.
