This solution is AWFUL. Never threat saving essential files on it. I’ve had it for significantly less than two months and it currently broke. Began creating a ticking noise this evening, and I was all of a sudden unable to save or open any files. Had somehow corrupted and every thing is LOST.Any individual who’s been in that scenario(specially like me, a teacher with a great number of sources and lessons I hadn’t backed up - shocking! - in 3 days) knows how heart-stopping and horrendous it really is.
Even when the firm supplied a refund I would not take it, because it would not replace my files.When we initially received this WD, we have been pleased together with the size, style and cost. Regrettably it has died, refusing to read/write or format, nine months right after obtain. Now comes the query of regardless of whether I can get a replacement that could die once again, or go with yet another manufacturer.
