I bought this WD external hard disk beofre 5 years and till date I have not get any problems or data lost issues with it. Some online sites like flipkart, amazon, snapdeals, provides very good discount on these external hdd. Also its service is good as I needed warranty based service which ended in replacement of my 2nd 2TB hard disk.
Thank god that it was not having that much data. So warranty period and service even is better compared to new in business HDDs in market which shows funky external cases but won’t last long. Should go for it. Already used and using 1 TB n 2TB drives. And also it provides locking software along with it
