It is very portable and very handy. I am using this from many years. you can carry it any where and use it with any computer with usb interface I purchased this hdd of 5800 from my local shop in panipat haryana. it is very compact and available in blue, white berry in colour. it is very fast in accessing. but it has minor shortcoming, its performance bit slower. if you are looking for compact storage device that offers a huge amount to carry data or backup then you can go with WD My passport ultra 1TB hdd
