Many people want to get rid of the excess weight.being a medical student I have tried out some techniques on myself for reducing the weight succesfully. the basic summary:human being gets energy from food which contains carbohydrates, proteins, fats.we get energy from these components in amout of calories.an average adult needs around 2500-3000 cal, which differ in different groups of people. protein:use:for normal growth of body, development of muscles. sources:soya, milk, meat, fish, eggs. energy:1 gm gives 4 calories. carbohydrates:use:for getting urgent energy. sources:sugars, wheat, generally all food products. energy:1 gm gives 4 calories. fats:acts as reservoir of energy.body insulator. sources:butter, oils, ghee, margarine. energy:1 gm gives 9 calories. mechanish of food balance:we should receive food in ration protein:fats:carbohydrates:1:1:4 if the increase in body input of any componenet special fats and carbohydrates inccreases weight.excess food turns into fats and gets accumulated in body under skin and so we put on the weight. mechanish of weght loss:the fat should be removed by using some basic techniques of calorie control. factors for obesity:increase in body input and less body out put. (if sugars are taken in large amounts they can increase the body weight significantly so we shoud avoid the excess sugars as they are carbohydrates) tips for weight loss: 1)avoid all kinds of junk food like burgers, pizzas, soft drinks, cakes, chocklates, biscuits, and other stuffs which are high calory food as they contains mixed sugars and fats too. 2)exercises like running, jogging.everyday. 3)cut off direct fats like ghee, butter, oils(desi malai) 4)mild amount of starvation(fasting) like skipping luch.overeating 5)mind control 6)use of fruits, fresh vegetables which give vitamins.drinking alot of water. low calory food:fruits, vegetables, soya, mashrooms. high calory food:direct fats and junk food. way of loosing weight:by following these techniques truthfully you can reduce the excess weight easily in 2 or 3 months. precautions to be taken: 1)avoid fasting for long time which may include muscle loss too. so be confident to reduce your weight and also you can enjoy your favourite food after you get adapted to calory management system.so just try it out with confidence.best of luck................praphull.
