Went to see this film last week thinking that it might have something that would be a refresher to the mind as its a so called comedy genre film but it turned out to be rather disappointing, and my friends agrees with me about it.
First of all the plot is in ruins, the most important part of the film revolves around a weak base line of a Plot. The story would seem really familiar as its like the cast goes to a foreign country in pursue of something and disaster follows them throughout the film but in the end all is well, yes its that kind of film which has a ton of films based on so as I was watching the film it felt really boring for the over used plot line. Even though Stars like Karan Jouhar and Ritesh Deshmukh are in the play it did not do well, the story mainly revolves around the IFFA award which is held in New York of all the places, the main cast goes through a lot of mishaps in the story in New York and thats it, yes really thats what it is there is no story.
By far the performance of the cast is the worst thing of the film, it felt like they are not even acting, Karan, Sonakshi, Ritesh everyones performance was bland, even though most of the cast was actually trying to play their actual real selves in the film they were not able to pull it off properly.
Music was okay at best, not really the type of songs are in this film to jam with, and the poor execution of background musics does not really help either.
Cinematography was overall standard for the kind of film this is, it is only because of the other aspects of the film that I am giving it a bad rating, but that does not mean that cinematography of this film was on per with other solid films, so it was basically average to standard.
I would not recommend this at all.
