Is your Hair like Straw?

I love trying out new shampoo’s, as I think your hair gets used to a certain product and gives you ’’Bad hair days’’.

When I saw the advert on T.V for the new Wella Vivality Shampoo I thought that I would nip off to my local supermarket and buy some. There it was sitting on a shelf all bright and yellow in appearance. I bought it but couldn’t find the conditioner, oh well I thought I will carry on using my Vosene Anti-Dandruff conditioner, I did have a bout of dandruff a few months ago. I have washed my hair a couple of times with this shampoo, I bought the Dry/Damaged hair range. I do have my hair streaked every two months or so and go for regular trims, but sometimes the ends of my hair get very dry and brittle. This shampoo did seem to soften my hair and put moisture back into my lifeless hair, whether it will stay that way, who knows? It does smell lovely though, a bit like creamy oranges if that makes sense. It does lather very well and I only used a little bit in my hands, I do add water to it before I apply it to my hair, this dilutes it and it’s not as harsh to your hair. I can see it lasting for ages as it’s a 250ml size bottle and you only need a little bit. A tip for applying shampoo, is to add a bit to your hand, add water, then apply only to the roots, massage well, then rinse. The rinsing will distribute the shampoo to the ends of your hair and cleanse them at the same time. There is no need to apply shampoo all over, a hairdresser friend told me that.

So if you have dry hair which is damaged by streaking or perming etc, try this, it will strengthen and repair your hair, as well as making it smell good. It only cost me £1.49 from Asda, I think I have seen a buy one get one free from other shops before I made my mind up to buy it.
