What is Hell is a book written by Jeremy D. Myers. It challenges the beliefs of the three major views of eternal damnation which is universalism which beliefs that sinners will be saved after going through purification, infernology which believe that the unrighteous will be tortured in fire for all eternity and Annihilationism which states that the wicked will cease to exist after going through divine judgment.
The view that is hold by Jeremy D. Myers in his book called, “What is Hell” is that after getting enough opportunity to repent those who remained hardened will be allowed to exist in hell without torments because he has such great love for them since God said in his book the Bible that he has love for his enemies.
In this book hell is seen as a place to be avoided at all cost as sin only brings unhappiness and its end which is hell will also perpetuate this unhappiness. He stated in his book that hell is located on earth now and what we should be doing is not to try and avoid hell in the future life but we should be trying to fix the effects of sin in our world now by sharing the good news of Jesus Christ about salvation from sin and its outcome which not only will be a destination of hell in the afterlife if left unrepented but also pain and sorrow that sin causes in this lifetime.
This book deviates from traditional views of hell thereby will be a new exploration for persons who loves to read Christian apocalyptical books.
